HANTHANA HIKE

 In this picture you can see Hantana Peak and the surrounding area.  Other mountain ranges covered in fog can also be seen very beautifully. This is one of the most prominent and beautiful mountain ranges near Kandy city. It's known for its lush green landscapes, diverse flora and fauna, and panoramic views. The range offers popular trekking routes and is a favorite spot for nature enthusiasts and hikers. The highest peak in the range is Hanthana Peak, which provides stunning views of the surrounding area. The area is also rich in biodiversity and offers a peaceful escape from the city.

RUWANVELI MAHA SEYA

The Ruwanwelisaya, also known as Ruwanveli Maha Seya, is a significant ancient stupa located in Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka. It was built by King Dutugemunu in the 2nd century BCE and is one of the country's most important and revered Buddhist sites. 

The stupa is renowned for its grandeur and historical importance, symbolizing the unity of the Sri Lankan people and the strength of the Buddhist faith. Its design and construction reflect advanced engineering and artistic skills of the time. Many Buddhist devotees visit this place and as seen here wet sacks are hung on the ground to facilitate the walking of the devotees who come due to heavy the heat.

IN FRONT OF KANTHALE LAKE

 In the above image you can see the Kantale lake front and the environment around it. It has a very beautiful environment and must have an interesting surroundings. Also as seen here, the embankment is protected with stones to reduce the speed of the water and to strengthen the embankment of the lake.  Because of the afternoon time, I was able to enjoy the beauty of the environment and was able to get great satisfaction.

 As the sun was setting in the evening, a strange beauty was seen in the environment through the sunlight falling on the water.

MIHINTHALAYA

As seen here, the iron supports are installed to provide comfort and safety to the people who are climbing.  Also, the stairs here are made of the same stone, so you have to go very carefully among the slippery ones.

Mihintale, also known as Mihinthalaya, is an ancient Buddhist site in Sri Lanka. Located near the city of Anuradhapura, it's famous for its historical and spiritual significance. Mihintale is often considered the cradle of Buddhism in Sri Lanka, where, according to tradition, Mahinda Thero, the son of Emperor Ashoka of India, introduced Buddhism to the island in the 3rd century BCE. The site features a range of ancient ruins, including stupas, temples, and monastic buildings, and is a popular pilgrimage destination.

NALLUR KANDASWAMY TEMPLE 

 Nallur Kandaswamy Temple, commonly referred to as Nallur Kovila, is a significant Hindu temple located in Jaffna, Sri Lanka. It is dedicated to Lord Murugan (Kandaswamy) and is known for its rich cultural and religious heritage. The temple is a major pilgrimage site for Tamil Hindus and is renowned for its elaborate architecture, vibrant festivals, and spiritual significance in the region

Many Hindu devotees visit this place with great devotion to perform their religious activities. They visit this place with great devotion to strengthen their faith and get solution to all their problems.

Due to the evening time, we could see the sky very beautifully and the beauty in that environment has been well reflected.

THE LAKE

What you see in this picture is a very beautiful photo taken in the evening in my village. This is how the red light that spreads in the sky as the sun goes down appearsthrough the clouds.

 Each sound of the birds and the wind, as well as this light-filled environment, delights everyone who sees it.
